Come join our next meeting on Thursday, August 2, where our speaker will be our very own Peter Lattey, Rotary DTLA Past President and 2018-19 Chair for International Service and The Rotary Foundation (https://www.rotary.org/en/about-rotary/rotary-foundation).

The Rotary Foundation distributes close to $300,000,000 every year for humanitarian projects and scholarships and has been the financial resource for Rotary’s decades long polio eradication program. ALL of the funds come from Rotarians, and all of the projects are guided by Rotarians, often in partnership with other organizations. Rotary DTLA’s Kenya water projects, the Malawi medical supplies project in progress, and the recent local beautification project where we installed doggie bag dispensers throughout DTLA are all funded by the Foundation.

Peter will explain how to contribute to the Foundation and become a Paul Harris Fellow, and how the Foundation enables Rotary clubs to multiply their efforts to do good both locally and around the world. Find out how to get free points towards becoming a Paul Harris Fellow, and much more!

Join us for happy hour/dinner 6-7pm at the 3F Invention Bar, followed by our meeting at 7:15pm.

Guests and visiting Rotarians welcome!
