Rotary Foundation Supports Service

Working Together to Make Lasting Impacts

The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.

In 2018, the Rotary Foundation provided more that $86,000,000 in grant funding

$10.9 mil for education & literacy – $35.6 mil for disease prevention and treatment — $10.5 mil for economic development — $18.7 mil for water and sanitation

Transforming Initiatives into Realities

Whether it’s a local service project or an international program, Rotary Foundation grants can help you make a difference

If you have an idea to help your community at home or abroad, Rotary Foundation grants may be available to partially fund your initiative. District grants fund small-scale, short-term activities that address needs in your community and communities abroad. Each district chooses which activities it will fund with these grants.

Global grants support large international activities with sustainable, measurable outcomes in Rotary’s areas of focus. By working together to respond to real community needs, clubs and districts strengthen their global partnerships.
