Rotary DTLA - Skid Row Housing Trust

Come join our next meeting on Thursday, February 21, where our speaker will be Rotary DTLA member Nathan Box, who is Director of Philanthropy at Skid Row Housing Trust (http://skidrow.org/), a provider of permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless men and women in Los Angeles.

Nathan is a 2007 graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications. After graduating, he worked at UCO for four years as the Coordinator of Commuter Student Services and then as the Assistant Director of the Volunteer and Service Learning Center.

In 2011, Nathan moved to Seattle to pursue work in the nonprofit field and advance his education, and graduated from Seattle University with an Executive Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Leadership in 2013.

In 2017, Nathan and his partner moved to Los Angeles, CA. In his spare time, Nathan is a committee member for the Out of the Darkness Pasadena Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and board member for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network LA. He lives in North Hollywood and is an avid lover of cinema and hiking.
