Rotary DTLA - Coralie Klipfel

Come join our next meeting on Thursday, April 19, where our speaker will be Coralie Klipfel, Rotary Global Grant scholar.

Coralie is a Ph.D in Law candidate at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and is the recipient of a Rotary Global Grant scholarship for a visiting research program at the UCLA School of Law. Her major research interests are public international law, human rights law, and humanitarian law. Her Ph.D dissertation focuses on public international law in exceptional situations (state of emergency).

She holds a B.A from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, a J.D from the University Complutense (Madrid, Spain) and a Master of Law (LL.M) from the University of Leiden (The Netherlands). In addition, she interned in law firms and companies in Paris, implemented a legal department in a local NGO in Bolivia (Cochabamba), and served as a legal assistant and case manager at the International Criminal Court.
