We kick off a new Rotary year on Thursday, July 5 with Happy Hour at The Ace Hotel Upstairs Bar from 6-8pm, celebrating the summer and a new chapter at Rotary DTLA! Let’s toast to our new President Brenda McCabe and Rotarians around the world joined together in service, under 2018-19 Rotary International President Barry Rassin’s theme “Be the Inspiration.”
President Rassin, a member of the Rotary Club of East Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas, describes the deeper meaning behind this year’s theme: “I want to inspire in your clubs…that desire for something great. The drive to do more, to be more, to create something that will live beyond each of us…We want the good we do to last. We want to make the world a better place.
