Rotary DTLA - Elizabeth Skrzat

Come join our next meeting on Thursday, March 1, where our speaker will be Elizabeth Skrzat, Executive Director of City Plants (http://cityplants.org/), a non-profit working with the City of Los Angeles to plant and distribute 20,000 trees a year. Elizabeth has been involved with planting trees in LA since 2012. Her passion for tree planting stems from the belief that every child has the right to grow up in a neighborhood with trees.

Elizabeth got her feet wet as an intern in City Hall while she earned a Masters in Public Administration from USC. Prior to grad school, Elizabeth set up recycling programs for Waste Management and completed the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs. Elizabeth is a member of the LA 5 Rotary Club, a graduate of the Municipal Forestry Institute, and a frequent speaker at arboricultural conferences and events.

Join us for happy hour/dinner 6-7pm at the 3F Invention Bar, followed by our meeting at 7:15pm.

Guests and visiting Rotarians welcome!
