Come join our next meeting on Thursday, September 6, where our speaker will be Rica Viola of the Rotary Club of San Pedro. Rica will speak about the District 5280 Humanitarian Trip to Peru taking place in April 2019.
This year we are excited to be working with Peru’s two Districts: 4455 and 4465. Working with the Peru districts and clubs, we have jointly selected 11 Global Grant projects that meet five of Rotary International’s Areas of Focus, and two projects that meet needs at the district level. We have also selected two unforgettable adventure options for post trips (choice of one or the other) after covering our humanitarian service projects in Lima: Cusco/Machu Picchu and Iquitos Amazon Cruise. This is the district’s first visit to Peru and first trip south of the Equator.
